Pelosi is at it again!

Recently Nancy Pelosi is opening her mouth and like many other liberals, adjusting her beliefs to fit her audience.

She recently said, enforcing the immigration laws are "un-american".

"It must be stopped....What value system is that? I think it's un-American. I think it's un-American." She said in a speech to a group of San Francisco immigrants...

I would love to hear what everyone thinks, whether they back Nancy or not.

Thanks

President Obama

I am wondering...why the President has chosen to close Guantanamo Bay. I do not believe in my heart of hearts that this was an intelligent decision on his part. There will inevitably be many more terrorist detainee's who need to go somewhere and geographical United States is a little too close to home to be putting people who want to destroy us. Also using some "Army Field Manual" tactics will not in my opinion get any further information from the detainees that the CIA could not. Yes President Bush wanted to "repatriate" these men and even their own country did not want these people back. So what do we do in this case? Do we set them free to roam as they please? Do we bring them to America to be detained until further investigations and categorizations are completed?

Source Fox News

"In 2003, President Bush signed an executive order labeling Al-Marri an "enemy combatant" and removing him from civilian custody. The order made the Defense Department responsible for Al-Marri who has been kept in isolation at the Navy brig in Charleston, S.C. His lawyers argue that the president has no "inherent authority" to hold him without charge for an unlimited time."

My question is, whether or not he had the "inherent authority" or not, why has it taken so long to begin prosecution on Al Marri?
Also another question I have is why is he being detained at a naval brig on American Soil?

I would love to hear what you all think....

Which Candidate is Best for Black America? (NBRA.com)

So...the BIG question is who is best for the Black population in America?

Martin Luther King, Jr. said: “I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."

Obama fans seem to ignore the fact that he wants to spend spend spend and focus on his color!

"According to the National Journal: 'Obama has the most liberal voting record in the US Senate.' When we look beyond Senator
we find an arrogant, elitist millionaire whose voting record is even more liberal than Senator Hillary Clinton. "

Is this what we really need in America? A man who seems to have the confidence and charisma as Adolph Hitler or someone who really puts his country first.

Obama established a 20-year relationship with Rev. Jeremiah Wright who damned his own country and declared that innocent Americans deserved to be killed by Jihadists on September 11, 2001.

Yes indeed, he did denounce the comments made by Wright but what about the radical ideology he and Wright believed for those 20 YEARS!?

"Obama opposes school choice scholarships. Obama puts the special interest of the teachers’ unions above the interest of poor black children trapped in failing schools. He wants to deny black parents school choice scholarships and calls successful charter schools a mere “experiment”."

I went to a successful charter school for 3 years and it was not a mere "experiment" as Obama states, it was a successful charter school that sends children to some of the best schools in the country and gave us a well rounded education.

"Obama has done little to help blacks. Obama claims to care about poor blacks, but he has a dismal record. He promises to raise the minimum wage, but he voted against the minimum wage bill that was finally passed in Congress. Obama was a “community organizer” in Chicago. If his messianic message of “Hope” and “Change” is so powerful, why are poor blacks in Chicago still poor? Socialism does not work."

If someone who says they can gain experience on the job, why has his home state not changed? Did he "learn" enough on the job by not helping his own "people"?

Obama is so pro-abortion that, as an Illinois state senator, he refused to support legislation to provide health care to babies who survived late-term abortions. In a cold-blooded speech on the Illinois Senate floor, Obama said that he did not want to recognize as “persons” babies born fully outside their mothers’ wombs, even with their hearts beating and lungs heaving.

This is just sad! :(

"Obama wants to raise taxes even above the levels of the Clinton era. Obama wants to tax poor people, dead people and small business people. He wants to raise the payroll tax that would hurt working people. He wants to raise the death tax that would tax average Americans twice- -once while they are alive and again after they die. He wants to raise the capital gain tax that would make many small business people go out of business. He wants to increase domestic spending massively and create a costly healthcare plan that would plunge our government into an economically disastrous budget deficit. This is change that we do not need.

Obama said on CNBC that high gas prices were “good,” and his only concern was that the increase in price be a “gradual adjustment.” He does not want to drill for oil in America. He does not support
the federal “gas tax holiday” that would help poor people afford more gas. He is aligned with the environmental extremists and is out of touch with average Americans, since 73% of the American people agree that, with appropriate safeguards to protect the environment, we should drill for oil off America’s coasts to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Obama and other Democrats in Congress are blocking drilling by America while the Communist regimes of China and Cuba collude to
exploit the oil and gas resources off our own Gulf Coast.

In 2006 when the Democrats took over Congress, they issued a press release which stated that the Democrats had a “common sense plan to reduce gas prices.” The report card is in, and the record shows that by 2008, Americans have suffered from record high gas prices, the highest in the history of our country. A public opinion survey revealed that the Democratic-
controlled Congress has a dismal 9% job approval rating, the lowest in history, with 83% of the American people expressing disapproval of the miserable job that Democrats are doing running the legislative branch of our government.

So the bottom line is...if Blacks think Obama is right because he is Black...look at his record and see how many times he has given his support for pro-black legislature...or to the poor at all!

Thanks,

Josh

Defining America

America has a unique spot in the world. There are those who see America as a beacon of freedom and there are those who see her as the great Satan. One thing unique about America is that people in other countries can come to America and become American but you cannot go to France and become French nor travel to Germany and become German. Our country is the land of opportunity, and our people are the most productive in the world. America is there to aid, support and protect other countries in order to achieve world peace for all nations. We are more aware of the great freedoms and rights we enjoy than our duties. I believe America is a place where people from different backgrounds can come together and agree to disagree. It is the land of the free and the home of the brave and we will fight to protect that. We have the highest amount of usage of most household items but we produce nearly one third of the world’s goods and services.

America leads the world in many areas—not all positive. For example, America has the highest divorce rate in the world with about 6.2 per thousand a year (Monthly Labor Review). I believe we save too little and spend too much. We work real hard and when we achieve our goal, we automatically want more. This is the hunger found deep down in millions of Americans. I think the people of our nation need an independent feeling or a feeling that they can go anywhere at anytime. The Department of Energy in the year 2000 reported that the percentage of U.S. households with three or more vehicles was 18.3%. If we put that in perspective to other nations who in many cases have only 1 vehicle per 5 or 6 people we recognize what fine things we have. Religion plays a large part in our society. A study by Pew Global Attitudes Project shows 59% of us believe in religion and the important role it plays in our daily lives.

Some people, including myself, believe the faster paced we become the more we forget that our Founding Fore Fathers encouraged us to help our neighbors and ourselves rather than relying on the government. Benjamin Franklin once said, “When you’re good to others, you are best to yourself.”

The U.S. Military’s budget in 2003 was $399 billion dollars as reported by the Center for Defense Information. The United States of America has the greatest military in the world, with this comes great responsibility. We cannot go to war without a just cause and it is not in our history to use force for evil purposes such as genocide or conquering other lands. Our government has come to the aid of many nations, liberating Europe and Japan during World War II and more recently Iraq. Often we are expected to bail everyone else out. In some instances we are criticized for not acting sooner or acting at all like after the 1993 tragedies of the millions of Rwandan’s who were murdered.

I believe The United States of America has a huge “burden” on its shoulders and we must continue to be the warm, compassionate, good natured people our Fore Fathers wanted us to be. There are many events in which molded the American way of life and the American image in people’s eyes. That’s why there is not just one way to define America but rather 293,027,571 unique definitions.

This is what a 16 year old conservative looks like!

Go to....

Welcome Friends and Foes Alike!

It's hard fitting in as a teenager. You have to worry about wearing just the right clothes, just the right hair style. You're either a jock, a nerd, punk, gangbanger-wannabe, skater or pretty-boy/valley-girl, slut, pimp or playah. What you hardly ever see at school is a Republican. I mean a teen Republican. We're even more rare than a conservative teacher on campus!

So, I'll be blowing off steam on this blog. For me, and anyone else who wants to express their opinions.
